Jarosław Koźlak is an author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers. He was a member of the Programme Committees of conferences concerned multi-agent systems, Semantic Web, and knowledge representation
His domains of research are:
- multi-agent and heuristic approaches for solving logistic problems (such as modelling and optimisation of supply chains, road traffic and cargo shipments): identification of the situation patterns and application of machine learning for choosing best strategies, solving static and dynamic transportation problems (especially Pickup and Delivery Problem with Time Window), traffic control, for example, traffic light management;
- analysis of social organisations and their dynamics using social network analysis and agent-based simulations;
- knowledge representation and integration using ontology description languages.
Jaroslaw Kozlak gives lectures on operating systems, system programming, decentralised artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems programming. He has supervised 38 successfully completed M.Sc. theses.
