Marcin Kurdziel holds a PhD in Computer Science from AGH University of Science and Technology. His research interests focus on unsupervised pattern recognition algorithms for complex data sets and their implementation on large massively parallel computers. His thesis, defended in February 2010, focuses on clustering algorithms for noisy non-metric data, with particular emphasis on biomedical data, and on visualization algorithms used to verify clustering results. Currently Marcin Kurdziel is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Electronic, AGH-UST.
In fall 2014 Marcin Kurdziel leads classes in Introduction to Informatics on extramural studies.
